Light beams all up in this bitch.
J.C Staff proving yet again that they might just be changing their ways for the better this season with an abundance of light beam censorship and possible screen-cropping with this episode of Prison School. I’m impressed!
Episode 2
We have a pretty slow start to the episode with not much service. Few things here and there and a few times when panties got censored.
Next is a glorious shower scene with Meiko and Mari. It seems like there is a lot more nudity in this scene than there was in the manga but that could just be my imagination getting the better of me.
Would love to see this uncensored of the BDs.
And with that, the service really springs into gear.
Stitches from the ED.
Well now here is something I thought I wouldn’t say at the start of the season. So far, J.C Staff are doing a good job delivering the goods. They are really not holding anything back or trying to hide anything. They are being so damn blatant with their censorship that it can only give hope and not destroy it. I would also like to say that the smoke while in motion looks very artificial, like its just something they slapped on at the last minute. This could mean that its giving way for uncensored goods on the BDs. This could just be me getting ahead of myself but it is all looking great so far.
On a side note, I kinda want to talk about how J.C Staff are doing with the rest of the show, putting aside everything ecchi. As we all know, Prison School has a very unique art style in the manga that would be near impossible to replicate in anime form. However, comparing a few shots from the manga, I must admit that they are doing their best to make it look as organic as possible which is something I can respect. Other than that, the directing is brilliant. The timing for the jokes is top-notch, having Joe and Andre play games in the background while in the prison is fantastic at keeping the atmosphere legitimate and the sound direction with various SFX cues and music placement is perfect. I must admit, Prison School is turning out to be an all-round fine anime.
