Prison School – Episode 5 Fanservice Review

With the airing of the first 4 uncensored episodes and even more censorship, things are on the up for Prison School!

More censorship is a good thing with a case like Prison School. With nudity confirmed on the BDs and even a special uncensored screening on Niconico, I say come what may with this show!

Despite having a censored scene at the end of the episode, it was pretty tame for Prison School standards.

Censorship can be the ire of many ecchi fans however with Prison School, it seems to be an exception. Firstly, because has been confirmed for this J.C Staff anime for the first time in over a decade, it bodes well for their future projects and they might actually deliver more nude anime. If they can produce more uncensored ecchi anime with the quality standards of Prison School, things are really on the up for ecchi anime.

Secondly, with the special niconico uncensored airings of Prison School, you don’t have to wait long for nudity. Albeit, the nudity is in piss poor resolution but hey, don’t bite the hands that feeds you. This is a pretty strange thing to do for J.C Staff in my eyes. It could simply be a marketing ploy by them to announce to as many people as possible that they are doing nudity to attract sales. With J.C Staff mainly producing stellar anime with no nudity, a marketing scheme like this makes sense in the long run.

Lastly, I would go as far to say that the nudity within Prison School isn’t even the main attraction. A lot of people didn’t bother with the show or even dropped it on episode 1 because “Hurr durr, tis just another anime for the masochistic crowd”. Honestly, Prison School is one of the most well directed and entertaining shows this season, not like they have much competition but its still saying something. There are legitimately very few shows this season better than Prison School.
