If Rance became a Ghostbuster.
We finally get a show again that does what all shows should and adds nudity that the source didn’t have. Only disappointing thing is that it is only 12 minutes instead of a full show. Technically it is full but only the first 12 minutes is the episode the rest are minimalist comedy sketches. If you haven’t read the manga the easiest way to describe it is if Rance started to hunt ghosts and exercised them in the only way he knows how. With dick.
The main girl shizuka is running through an office building as all phones keep ringing with the urban legend ghost of mary on the other line. Eventually she catches up to her and appears from behind.
After she appears behind her the main character appears behind her as well. Before she can react to try and scare him as well he takes off his pants and fucks her as the main girl has to watch. He mentions how since sex brings life it is the best weapon again those that are dead as she is sent back to the afterlife after getting fucked. Also for comparison here is the scene in the manga..
The next day they get payment from the woman that hired them who asks how they were able to get rid of the ghost but shizuka doesn’t want to tell her since she doesn’t want anyone to know what her boss does to eliminate ghosts. Interestingly they changed the client to an office lady instead of an old man in the manga at this part.
After they leave they talk about how shizuka is used as bait to draw the ghosts out and distract them so that kamui can sneak up behind and fuck them. He then takes her to an ice cream shop to pay her with ice cream. While doing this he tells her the story about the teketeke urban legend and how a schoolgirl got ran over by a train and cut in half and now she wanders around searching for the missing half and that now that she knows the ghost will appear to her in 3 days.
Three days later she is being chased by the ghost and she thinks on how she got involved in all of this. She mentions how ghosts have always been attracted to her and as a result always has ghosts around her that she cant remove and no one else can see.. Then one day she met kamui whom could see the ghosts and when they tried to attack him he removed them with his method. This scared her and she ran from him but eventually she decided to join him since he wanted her as a partner since she has the ability to draw ghosts out so she would be the best person to have around for someone that hunts ghosts like him.
She eventually falls down running from the ghost and just as it is about to get her kamui appears while she is too distracted to notice him and gets ready to fuck her.
Shizuka wonders how he is going to deal with her since due to her not having a bottom half she is vaginaless and his method wont work. Only to see him start using her ear with his mouth instead.
He mentions how people that have lost limbs can sometimes still feel a phantom pain from that limb even though said limb is no longer there so by him licking her ears he is able to replicate getting fucked in the vagina and she reacts the same way as if she is getting fucked and as such passes on. And if you want to know what the manga had..
After getting rid of her he then tells shizuka another urban legend about a similar ghost that has lost her arms and legs and searches for others to take their limbs for herself and now that she knows the ghost will appear in 3 days. We then cut away to them back at the shop with a client as she is eating a lot of ice cream knowing this is the only good part of the job because of what she is going to experience soon enough as a result.
We then have some various stuff from the ED and with that the episode is over. The comedy sketches after are just simple drawn skits so no actual service content there.
Even though the show is only a half length show it still beats out most full length shows simply by being one of the rare instances of a show adaption being better than the source by actually adding nudity that wasn’t present in the manga. It’s actually funny how a single 12 minute episode of this show had more female nudity in just this episode alone then multiple episodes of a certain dogshit vn about an island of dicks had after multiple episodes combined last summer. Not only that the episode had longer consistent sex and nude sex at that. The scene with mary is near 13 seconds long straight which is longer than anything a certain dogshit literal porn vn had last summer which was only 1-3 seconds. The true comedy is that this comedy manga is able to provide better straight content service then an actual porn vn adaption did last year. So with that said this show serves as a good way to heal after last summer had the worst show ever created.
If the show has any flaws though it would be that it seems to be following the content of the manga one to one rather then expanding on it so far when it comes to the actual scenes with the ghosts. This is something that has always bothered me with manga adaptions and that is when they only use the panels present as content instead of doing their own extra ones resulting in the content being restricted to only the content the manga gave. So you essentially just get the manga in animated form instead of being an extended version of said manga scene. With that in mind though at least it is actually animated. So many other shows would had just turned the sex parts into static images while this actually animates them so hopefully it remains that way. Another issue is that it seems to go overboard on waist censorship with the beams of light being way more than they need to do as we have seen plenty of shows have way less before when it comes to female crotches.
Overall though this was off to a good start since it gave nudity that wasn’t in the manga and actually gave animated sex and had it be nude as well. Something that most shows these days have now seemingly pussied out on. So hopefully this show serves as a good starting point for shows to stop being shit. It’s been 3 and a half years since I last did show posts with peter grill 2 being the last time I did one due to not having anything of worth I wanted to do. Let’s hope this one doesn’t end up being just another single diamond in a mountain of shit like anime has become lately but a sign of good things for the future. Also hopefully raws get uploaded sooner. I need a raw to do a post and an uncensored raw for this didn’t show up till nearly a week after it aired. Ep2 is already aired at this point.
This was my first show post since gfycat died. So cant do webms anymore and I’m not going through the hassle everyone else does with mp4upload which isn’t really meant for quick clips. Been 4 years and still no replacement for gfycat. Had to use redgifs but there is no way to disable autoplay. Annoying bullshit.
