Konohana was written by Matsumoto Drill Kenkyuujo, probably best-known for the ero-manga Alignment You! You! It was briefly serialized in Champion RED as an all-ages manga despite the fact that it very, VERY clearly is not. It only made it to one volume before someone finally noticed and pulled it from circulation. It got a sequel in the form of Kono Yo Hana ni Suru Tame ni .
