Busou Shoujo Machiavellianism Fanservice Review Episodes 11-12 (And BD Changes for Episode 7)

Nothing much to see here for the episodes themselves. The (non-nude) episode 7 BD changes is really the only meat on the bone here.

And so, this show ends. Yes, the service is rather minimal (I regret having this article turn out media-heavy in spite of that, but I had to cram what was left, since it felt wasteful to make more than one article of this mediocrity, and I didn’t want to leave out most of what SMT gave me.) There were plenty of redraws from what I skimmed, but nothing important fanservice-wise. On a separate matter, the OVA is the only other remaining thing to cover for this show, with the bath scenes (….ugh… I’m really going to dread trying to make stitches of the bath scenes…) being the highlight. Non-nude unfortunately, but still worth covering IMO. Hell, that article will have more worthwhile service than this one.

I won’t bother explaining the plot of these episodes, as that’s not what this article is for, and even then, it’s better if you just watch the anime or read the manga scanlations (glad they’re still getting updated, honestly, as I enjoy the characters in this series), though preferrably the latter, as the anime trimmed some scenes from some of the chapters to wrap the story up more quickly. Well, and some of the content was a bit dull (for example, an excluded scene was about the MC and the white-haired bunny girl discussing martial arts stuff for a couple of pages. Not very interesting stuff for a layman like me, either.)

As a small side-note, the media on this article isn’t entirely in one uniform quality, as the  media for the BD changes section was made with both a 1080p BD source and a 720p TV source (obviously to make the comparison), not to mention the webms for the main episodes in this article were all made using the 1080p BD source (Sorry for the lack of continuity in source for the media. I just hate it when the webms come out looking rather poor.)

Anyways, hope you enjoy, and if you want to get to the crème de la crème of this article, just go to the BD changes for Episode 7 towards the bottom. Not much to show, but noteworthy nonetheless.

Ummm… some of the media has a bit of blood and stuff… so… yeah…

…too fucking adorable.

Can’t say I’m not interested on the contents of that magazine. Maybe it has all the nudity this entire show never delivered on. I am a bit interested on what pictures they used for the back cover though, since I can’t make them out that well. The interest I have in this magazine compared to my interest in the service in this article shows just how much I care about it.

Didn’t bother making a cap of it, but funny things is, the only redraw of this scene in the BD was that they added a shirt flap to her right breast.

I initially wanted to format the media for the BD changes section to display in two columns with the BD source on one column and the TV source on the other column for a side-by-side comparison. Sadly I couldn’t, as it’s not possible here. Sorry about that.

I won’t be including the BD changes in the article for episode 7, as that article is overloaded as-is (and because I’m lazy like that :p ).

All that’s left for this show for me to cover is the OVA. The manga is non-nude as well, unfortunately, and the art isn’t good enough to make it worth covering. Only other thing I still need to cover is the remaining specials for Keijo!!!!!!!!, which I’m most likely going to do before the OVA for Machiavellianism (anything to procrastinate on making stitches for those tedious bath scenes, heh).

This series was fun to cover, just not very worth it fanservice-wise, especially for full-episode coverage. A few special articles for the fanservice-heavy episodes would have been far more worth it IMO, but no point stating this at this point. Can’t wait to put this series and Keijo!!!!!!!! to bed once I’m done with their articles. Then I can focus on Tasogare Otome x Amnesia. That one won’t deliver nudity, but I like the characters, and it’s a fun series, so I’ll still have fun covering it. ‘Till next time.

Somehow, my luck took a turn for the better in FGO this year. The first two 5-stars I got I really didn’t care for (Jeanne and Sanzang), but sometime later, after I got Dantes, I started getting a new 5-star almost every week or two. Best of all, I got Enkidu. I’m grailing the fuck out of him once I get enough grails. I got him shortly after wasting some of my grails on Dantes and Cu Alter, though, so I kinda shot myself on the foot there. I don’t regret grailing them, since they’re both powerhouses in their own way, but still  a shame that I got Enkidu only after those grails were used up. The other 5-stars I got so far are Tesla, Gilgamesh, Meltryllis, Quetzalcoatl, and Moriarty. I want Ereshkigal once she comes out, but that’s half a year away. In the meantime, I’ll try my luck with Sherlock, because I fucking hate Jeanne as a character (she’s a good servant, but I hate her character, and that she was technically the one with the highest HP and the highest ATK in the game [albeit with the highest ranking in both stats each being held by a different version of her], up until recently, with the release of Jinako, who I dislike far less). That’s just way too much favoritism for one character. I really want to see more Strange/Fake characters added, but that won’t be happening until the series ends.
