Busty elf girls seem tailor made for tasty fanservice even in anime posters…

This month’s posters include a bit of a treat for anime fans. Not nearly as much as last month with actual nipples in Megami RX posters. That’s a pretty rare treat for anime posters. But this month includes posters from Megami Deluxe and even if a lot of them have been published before in other magazines, it’s not uncommon for the Megami Deluxe version to have improved artwork.

Starting this year, we are treating Megami as the benchmark for anime posters and including all of their posters in our monthly posters blog posts. And any other magazine’s posters that get a yande.re pool in between the Megami pools will be considered as well. But only selected posters or VHR (Very High Resolution) scans. It really needs to look like something that might actually be found on an anime fan’s wall or it’s not really a poster. So no walls of text or walls of images, unless there is some compensating service to make up for the distractions. Also no posters from anime shows that are likely to never have any service or sex appeal of any kind even in their posters.

Also, because somebody asked in the comments, JBOX (aka J-LIST) has some of the magazines for sale. Now mixed in with books for some reason. They do sell out so you should buy them asap if you are interested.

Once again, Megami pools are the bookends.

Megami Deluxe vs Animedia — Before and After

If a lot of the art in the Megami Deluxe seems familiar, you’re not imagining things. Turns out most of the posters are updated versions of previously published promo art. Often they remove walls of text. Sometimes they add additional character art. Sometimes they do both.
