The stars shine once again as our HxEROS rally to save Kirara, and make a new friend along the way.
The girls give the MC their panties to get him worked up, but he’s not into it.
In the manga, all 3 girls are nude here. In the anime, only one is. I’m guessing there will be a BD change to rectify this.
We get a new character who is the castoff first-born daughter of the archenemy Queen bug. She looks absolutely nothing like a bug herself, though it is explained in the episode that the bugs have the power to shape-shift and assume forms. She ends up joining the team by the end of the episode.
And here our new character shape shifts again.
Overall Thoughts
Nothing really that ‘gif-able’ this episode, and if anything the amount of potential nudity is toned down from the manga a little.
It also covered just one chapter again, and it sounds like the next episode will too. At this point I’m going to have to assume that there is going to be a massive skip-ahead at some point. To Love-Ru did something similar where they skipped over chapters so that they would be available later for OVAs.
On an anime level, this episode (like much of the show) is intensely cliched and mediocre, though at least the art quality remains high and the service keeps coming. Like Val x Love, the BD contents will be make or break for this series.
Next week will cover chapter 9, one of the best chapters in the series for service IMO. Hopefully the anime does it justice.
