Overall Thoughts
Wow.
This is probably the most nudity in an episode since To Love-ru Darkness 2nd. The first half of the episode in particular is especially loaded. I’m not sure if it even goes a full minute without a nipple sighting.
Speaking of To Love-Ru, the HxEros manga series definitely borrows some ideas from it. Chacha uses her powers not only to transform and create ecchi situations, but does so while trapping the MC’s conciousness within her body so he can feel everything that’s going on too. That’s straight out of the To Love-Ru Darkness playbook, and the exploration underneath Maihime’s blouse felt like a nod to To Love-Ru as well.
This episode covers chapters 10 and 13 of the manga. For the time being it seems chapter 11 and 12 have been skipped. Chapter 11 didn’t have a lot of service, but 12 did. There’s certainly a chance that they cover chapter 12 at a later time as sometimes these TV shows adapt the chapters slightly out of order. There’s also the chance that like To Love-Ru, certain chapters are covered in OVAs that come later.
While this show had been pretty mediocre story wise, I thought relatively speaking the story was fairly decent this week. We get some romantic development between Retto and Kirara, and the bug princess ChaCha establishes herself as an instantly lovable character who also adds fun to the fanservice scenes.
The production values still haven’t slowed down either. There’s a lot to be positive about.
As far as nudity goes, at this point I would be floored if there wasn’t nudity on BD. There’s just too much censorship not too.
