Ecchi Miscellanea: Winter 2019

As winter comes, nature tells us to wear thicker clothes and search for anime where girls take theirs off…

… or at least wear as little as possible.

Hi guys, it’s the end of another season and we desperately searched around for more interesting anime (again, I mean boobs), but most of them just didn’t seem prone to deliver enough to earn a full review (well, Pastel Memories too, but they trolled us for good). So we’re back again… is there’s something else worth a second look in the past season?

This list is by no means complete or conclusive, but can be considered a starting point.

Black Clover (6th cour)

Yet another anime with sorcerers, lately it seems a fad. Here a no-magic loud peasant somehow enters the magic knights of the kingdom… various things happen… and somehow a lot of hot girls start showing up around him.

Circlet Princess

In a world where a sort of holographic bashing between highschool girls became a real sport, this is the story of a girl that starts from zero and becomes a champion simply because she moves too fast for the holographic CPU to really keep up with her. To make it better, there’s an unwritten rule that the fighting suit should be somehow slutty (you may notice that the gray-ish part of those sort-of-leotards is supposed to be see-through). Underdog of the anime season, to the point it’s been ignored by most.

(RyuujiTK and various Anon, thank you for subbing this)

Endro~!

In a fantasy world, the Hero of the 999th generation and her party prepares to fight the 999th reincarnation of the Demon King. And for whatever reason the Demon King is a toddlecorn that gets high on strawberry juice and the Hero Party are four girls that just happen to be terminal slackers (and incidentally wear slutty clothes). Beware, severely moe character designs.

Mandatory Disclaimer: While their design can be misleading this show’s characters are all legit high-schoolers, like the ones of Mahou Shoujo Tokushusen Asuka. Please compare to your heart’s content.

Girly Air Force

The aliens invades Earth, this time not with strange ships or super-robots but through high-spec warplanes. The humans takes the bio-components of the few planes they can get down, develops them in vitro and then make them in the shape of young girls (you can bet Japan has done most of job…) that can fly special aircraft made of the same genetic code… or something like that. Then comes in a guy that apparently can fly the aircraft of the dropout of these bio-enginereed aircraft-girls. And the JSDF instantly draft him in, using sneaky tactics.

Gotoubun no Hanayome

A pennyless student is tasked with teaching to a quintuplet of bombshell sisters that don’t want to have anything to do with school. Also he aces in studying (all the time), getting on their nerves (the odd days) and encourage their maternal instinct (the even ones).

Kaguya Wants to be Confessed To: The Geniuses’ War of Love and Brains

Miyuki Shirogane is a hardworking genious, Kaguya Shinomiya is heiress of a japanese megacorporation, perfect in body and mind. They are the president and vice-president of the student’s council prestigious Shuchiin Academy, and they love each other. BUT, no one will ever confess to the other, because admitting love is weakness and in this world power is all. So they pass the time trying to push the other to confess. And in the meanwhile, we can admire Chika, pink-headed secretary of the student’s council  (Pink means airhead. Period.) and the callous blond Hayakawa, personal maid of Kaguya. And from time to time, Chika’s sisters too.

Karakuri Circus (2nd cour)

A intricated and dystopian story where puppets are used as weapons, deathless human beings and a noticeable fetish for reincarnation, all dominate the scene. Luckily, there’s a fair share of beauties getting disrobed from time to time. Unluckily, it’s not the focus of this series.

Mahou Shoujo Tokushusen Asuka

Alien invades, magical girls become real, beat the invaders and when they are more “grown up” (in the right places) they join the counterterrorism department… or something like that. This anime is quite gory, so don’t try it if you’re not fine with basically all that can be done to a human using sharps objects. That’s up to you, but I couldn’t go beyond episode 4, not even for all those huge… tracts of land.

Otona no Bouguya-san (Rimen)

3-episode miniseries for Otona no Bouguya-san, from the past Fall.  Something else we don’t really care for happens in the Shop Equipment of Risqué Armors for Ladies and Gentlemen, and thus for one reason or the other the risqué armors are equipped! There are also scenes where the boys are almost naked, but there’s not even a snowball chance in hell I’ll take screens of those.

Radiant (2nd cour)

In a world where the only hope for humanity are sorcerers and sorcerers are nonetheless hunted by inquisitors, Seth (a boy with horns) finds a floating city of sorcerers and an extremely bipolar friend whose shirts show off always some nice cleavage. At some point some enemy with large cleavages comes in too. And I’m sure there’s also a story… somewhere.

Saint Seiya: Saintia Shou

Spin-off of the famous Saint Seiya with some runaway girls that just happens to be female Saints that for some riff-raff rules are named Saintias and therefore don’t wear masks… also the enemies seems taken from Sailor Moon. You would expect also long steamy battles with sweaty buxom girls beating the shit out of each other… well, sorry, it’s not going to happen. No fanservice from the Saintias, no creaking armors, no showers worthy the name and not even trasformation’s sequences… all you can have is a a close-up of Eris, the goddess of Discord (no, not the chat app).

For reference, I’ll add a screen of the typical fight of these Saintias.

Tate no Yuusha no Nariagari (1st cour)

Fantasy series about a cringey kingdom that summons some heroes and then decides to arbitrarily kick one of them. Things happen, monsters are killed, cringey nobles enact cringey schemes and other things happen. But who cares, in exchange for all this pain, we get some minutes of a raccon-girl in an onsen.

Tensei Shitara Slime Datta Ken (2nd cour)

The second part of Tensura seems more prone to show a more pleasant side of the female followers of resourceful slime Rimuru. And while Milim may be not as well endowed, that’s sure a fine ass.

Toaru Majutsu no Index III (2nd cour)

Season 3 of Index, responsibly, delivers some panty shots, some more or less focused looks on the right parts of some ladies and… not much more, since the whole storytelling is a mess.

Ueno-san wa Bukiyou

Short anime about a highschool scientist and her misguided attemts of getting in the pants of her dumb kohai, usually using one of her problematic gimmicks. For one reason or the other, other girls show up.

And lastly a precious thought that Otona no Bouguya-san leaves for us.

(a cookie for you if you get the reference)

Overall thoughts: All in all, this winter a lot of shows delivered some low-tier fanservice. Most were just freebies handed in one or two episodes, others tried to boost a boring story with huge tits and deep cleavages (DO THAT! DO THAT BUT MORE!!!) and a lot of them just made girls wear “interesting” clothes that while not leaving much to the imagination, apparently didn’t really gave more than an eyeful for each episode. While I’m not complaining, they could’ve tried harder.
