Houkago no Yuutousei ep2
Many people probably don’t realize how well Queen Bee releases actually do with almost every month being the highest preordered and sold thing on getchu. I was going to use this time to laugh about it but I guess I will have to save that for another month which won’t be hard to do since Queen Bee titles are always at the top of the charts. A few days ago it seems they finally were able to lose their regular 1st place spot for preorders thanks to the newest kuroinu coming out next month.
Cheer up though Queen Bee since even though you are not 1st place this month anymore you are still beating out dxd’s newest BD which is 3rd place. Queen Bee sits on the same tier as dxd when it comes to it’s high sales. Think about that. Really think about it. A Queen Bee hentai release and the newest season of dxd are equals in japan when it comes to praise. I’ll just leave you with that thought. Keep in mind this only involves preorders at getchu and nowhere else but it is still amusing to think about.

The description of the story from vndb is this..
Soushirou is about to graduate college, but at this point he still hasn’t found his calling professionaly speaking, that is till he admires a vase made by a famous potter. That’s Soushirou’s calling, the work of art captivates him so much that he immediately makes a vow to become a potter under that famous artist’s tutetalage.
Soushirou is accepted as a disciple, with that Soushirou moves from Tokyo to a quite and cozy rural prefecture to live and learn with his master; there is where Soushirou will find love and marry while he develops his skills, becoming a worthy successor to his master.
Probably one of the main titles for this month that people are waiting for. However one downside is that it looks like it might end up being only one episode due to the fact that all the girls get a scene. With everyone getting a scene and the pv showing what looks like might be an orgy I’m going to assume they probably only have plans for one episode of this. Though who knows maybe if it sells well they might change those plans and do another.

Dokidoki Little Ooyasan ep2
Nothing I can really include source wise since I posted screens of the 3d movie this is based on last time. Anyway this is the second episode about the landlady that looks a lot younger than she really is and probably the other main title of the month that people are looking forward to. More importantly the girl actually gets naked this time which annoyingly was lacking in the first episode(other than a brief imagination image). So far a third episode hasn’t been announced yet so they might be relying on sales to decide. There is another 3d movie sequel to the original that this is based on so they certainly still have more content they could use if needed (though they seem to be doing original things here anyway). One positive is that all of a1c’s labels tend to have a habit of making usually 4 or more episodes for these shorter length titles that they release so it would not be out of the realm of possibility that they might do more later on. Just going to have to wait and see.

Ore ga Kanojo o Okasu Wake ep 4
Normally I don’t care for these titles that drag on with the same girl as the main focus for multiple episodes as it gets tedious unless there is something special about said girl that sets her apart from other generic hentai girls. There is nothing special about the girl in this however the work still manages to avoid being redundant because it at least gave us some scenes with the mother a few times and even though it was a video recording it at least made this work different from those other “same girl for 4 episodes” titles that we have gotten from a1c for awhile now. This one seems to continue on with being different from the others by giving us a scene with the mother for real this time. So in short we get two different girls in what I am assuming is the last episode based on it’s content.

Imouto Paradise! 3 ep2
I want to pretend this isn’t real. Not because I have issues with the source material or anything like that but because this is such a depressing downgrade for the company releasing this. Last year Showten appeared out of nowhere and released Gakuen Shinshoku: xx of the dead which even though it contained content some people might not care for since it was mainly tentacles it still was a pretty well done and decent budgeted hentai. Compared to the stuff we get these days it was pretty nice looking despite one’s personal taste on the content. I believe at the time I said I really hoped this was not a one time thing for them with the company vanishing afterwards and that I hoped they stayed around if they were going to put out good looking hentai like that.
However maybe it would had been best if they had vanished because at least then they could had been the company that came out of nowhere and released a two episode series that was well done only to vanish into the sunset. Instead they decided to stay around and release whatever this is supposed to be. If you have seen the first episode or even just watched the pv for this newest one you can see how badly animated it is. It’s not the worst thing out there but still pretty bad. I would put it only slightly better than queen bee releases and “slightly better than queen bee” is not something you want to hear. That is like saying losing three limbs is better than losing all four.
What is odd is that Office no 8 usually does better work than this. XX of the dead was possibly animated inhouse at Showten as there didn’t seem to be a studio listed on it but Imouto Paradise 3 is done by Office no 8 instead which is a studio that other companies have used as well in the past. I’m not a fan of their work but even still the stuff they usually do doesn’t tend to look this bad so I have no idea what is going on here. Maybe they were given a low budget or something I don’t know but this whole thing just looks terrible. The only thing I can hope is that this release was just meant to be filler for Showten and they have something else on the level of xx of the dead in the works. Probably just wishful thinking but its a shame seeing them go from something as well animated as that to this. If you really do want to watch an Imouto Paradise 3 adaption then you are probably better off watching the jav adaption that got 2 episodes (one in april and one in june) The jav ID numbers for those are MUDR-032 and MUDR-039 if you are curious.
Saimin Gakuen ep3
I already made the joke last month about this but I can seriously never remember what poro title goes to what in my head. I’m pretty sure this was the title I thought the one released last month was a part of but it ended up being something else instead. I don’t think anyone even remembers what goes to what either as they all are too similar looking and to make matters worse most of poro’s titles tend to take place in schools to add to the confusion. This one seems to have pregnancy though so I guess that is something to try and remember to separate it from the others.

Erotic cute sister Dakimakura
So I was confused by this when I first saw it as it is the only dakimakura a1c was releasing this month and I could not place it to any series. Usually they release a dakimaura to promote one of their titles but this one I could find nothing matching it. Even the name for it didn’t sound like a title I heard of but then I read the description and found this described in it “Let’s squeeze out a heroine to expand to animation and games later.” I then saw that this dakimaruka has a different label on it as well called “Original heroine Body Pillow lust series ♥ vol.01” So it seems this is an original character that a1c has created and just the first of many if that vol1 is any indication.
More importantly as you saw they said in the description something about expanding into games and animation later. So it seems that a1c might be starting to create original stuff now that they will make hentai ovas and VNs based on later down the line. This actually wouldn’t be too odd of a direction change for the company if they do that since if you notice in all the works they put out under their various labels they tend to quickly steer away from the source material and start doing their own original stuff. Guess they might be planning on doing this more often now and will start making their own work instead of only doing adaptions perhaps. In short we might see these characters later down the line in something in the future.
Another month of sequels mostly. Next month however goes back to having a few new titles at least. Of more significant note though is that after years of waiting the 5th episode of kuroinu which is probably the main thing most will care about comes out next month. As you saw when I posted that preorder chart earlier it is currently the most preordered thing on getchu so it is really getting a lot of hype and anticipation for it to come out. Also before anyone asks I didn’t include the Selfish release for this month because it is not only a digital dlsite release rather than a mainstream one but their titles tend to just randomly come out with no release alert prior much like ep2 for this month which just says sometime this month so including them is a hassle so I tend to ignore them.
I wonder how many people will read into what I said about dxd to get what I was getting at. The point I was making was that even though dxd’s newest season is getting high preorders and sales and seems to be genuinely loved by japan despite being not too well liked by those here in the comments it doesn’t really mean much when you consider queen bee’s popularity also. In other words yes dxd might be selling well in japan but does that really have that much weight when you consider this is the same country that loves queen bee hentai as well (and liked even more than dxd based on ranks)? That fact kind of tells you all you need to know about japan’s tastes.
