Kon`yakuhaki Sareta Reijou o Hirotta Ore ga, Ikenai Koto o Oshiekomu aka I`m Giving the Disgraced Noble Lady I Rescued a Crash Course in Naughtiness had a not-too-short hot springs scene happen in episode 05. (Yet another way-too long title in both Japanese and English. *sighs* Ikenaikyo is used in the official URLs and seem to be the official short name so we will be going with Ikenaikyo for this review.) Enough of a special event to merit a special edition review. That and some romance too. Plus the anime girls are cute…
I don’t know enough about the franchise to know if more bath scenes (or bikini scenes) are to be expected or not. So I don’t know if fans should expect more episodes like this one although I tend to doubt it. But I am still watching Ikenaikyo as it airs…

Overall, Ikenaikyo episode 05 had a decently long hot springs scene and some humorous moments for fans of romance and comedy. Do check out the media above. However, the characters wore swimsuits in the hot springs since it was “mixed” bathing. Baka. Furthermore, the bikinis were really tame and the main fanservice was mc-chan’s, Charlotte’s, busty cleavage… With all the characters in swimsuits or uniforms the bath scenes were pretty tame and not censored much and likely to stay that way on BDs since Ikenaikyo seems to be more about comedy and romance than fanservice.
Fortunately, there were some scenes with fanservice that were decently closeup and I was able to make some nice snapshots, stitches and WebMs. Do check them out above. Unfortunately, the character art is on the low budget side and the media tends to be less than crisp especially when the characters are not close up.
For the most part, the visuals looked decent even with a low budget. Including the girls which is the most important part. Such a shame that the girls other than Charlotte didn’t get much in the way of sexy scenes…
While the hot springs scene was an unexpected and pleasant surprise, there were more missed opportunities than not. Hopefully there will be more opportunities for fanservice in the future but it doesn’t seem likely…
