Kinsou no Vermeil Episode 11-12 Fanservice Review

The end for Vermeil, for now

Vermeil’s past history is fully unveiled in episode 11, and man is it tragic. As a young child she was severely bullied and ostracized by her peers. Lets just say things got heated.

The neighboring villagers attempt to force Vermeil and her adopted family out of town, unless they surrender Vermeil. They instead tell her to run away but she refuses to abandon them.

This is one of the more graphic things I can ever remember seeing in a fanservice show. Really emphasizes just how deep Vermeil’s trauma is.

If you ask me, these assholes had it coming for murdering her only family in the most horrific manner possible. But its now crystal clear why Vermeil has so many internal insecurities with trusting others. Enter Alto to save the day.

We’ve seen these two kiss a million times now, so this is nothing new on the intimacy front. But never has it been more meaningful than in this moment as Alto frees her from her chains (literally).

Unfortunately, there’s no season 2 as of now to show what these villain’s have up their sleeves next time. But at least in this finale they are defeated by the apparent power of love. The ghost specter who has watched over Vermeil all this time was a member of her adopted family. How touching.

With no more conflicts on the horizon, Alto’s day to day life is rather formulaic and simple now. He gets beat up by his senpai that try to whip him into shape and he goes to 2nd base with Vermeil every day. What a lucky guy.

“god I wish that were me” – every viewer. Alto really takes the cake for luckiest protagonist of the season.

In the final pillow talk scene between these two lovers, Alto and Vermeil wholly convey their emotions for each other and it is implied that they have sex.

The End, for now. This was a fairly simple and sweet fanservice show. You got a lot of make out sessions and aggressive sexual embraces between the main pairing. It never ventured into actual sex, from what we could tell, but about as much was expected from a non nude anime. If anything it went further than the norm in that it has an actual relationship that steadily progresses.

There was truly only one star of this show, and they need no introduction to anyone paying remote attention. Vermeil is so irresistible that it’s all the more disappointing that we don’t see her in more proactive scenes. I’m sure I’m not the only one wanting a season two to arrive so we can get more of Vermeil.
