Kinsou no Vermeil Episode 5 Fanservice Review

More Vermeil…with a twist

There’s less fanservice in this episode from previous weeks, and more plot. But there’s still enough intrigue here to warrant a post. Case and point, a flashback of little Chris. It is unknown how such a cute girl turned into a sadistic edgelord. It is also unknown why anyone would name a girl Chris.

This flashback  shows he she and Rex first met. This is relevant because later she is attacked by a demonically possessed Rex. More on that later, first a shopping date between Vermeil and Alto.

Their public display of affection is interrupted by an emergency – Chris is under attack and needs urgent assistance.

Somehow, someway Rex has been consumed by evil and is now on a manic rampage of destruction. Its up to Alto and Vermeil to stop him, but in the meantime we get a small bit of fanservice through the torn clothing of Chris.

one of the top mages of the academy, Elena, runs to rescue of Chris. Kinda unfortunate considering he was close to blowing her skirt off. Elena gets no fanservice in this episode, but maybe later.

It would seem that Vermeil is hiding something here, and knows more than what she lets on. This comes up again later under tragic circumstances.

Vermeil astutely figures out the mastermind behind students suddenly becoming corrupted with power. naturally, he cannot allow her to roam freely.

I have no clue how Vermeil was unable to dodge that serum injection. I mean its the most obvious page in the book of villany to not allow suspicious peers to unveil your secret plans of doom. But this sure does move the plot towards its first major conflict.

At the same time of this impending crisis, Lillia is trying very hard to rape Alto in the absense of Vermeil. I wish she were successful.

Yes, that is Vermeil in her fully unleashed demon glory. Still would bang, 10/10. Obviously she will return back to normal soon and the fanservice shenanigans will continue, but it’ll be interesting to see how Alto changes his perspective of Vermeil after seeing this form of her. Does this strengthen or weaken their relationship? There’s a parallel here to Spice and Wolf of Holo and Lawrence’s relationship, the former having a monstrous form that she feels insecure about. I’d imagine a similar route is taken where the human embraces the side of his partner, and they grow stronger together.
