The auditory ecchi experience
It’s a shame that this only got a 2 episode OVA. This is pretty much a must watch for any fan of ecchi. The subject matter it deals with is acting in eroges and other areas. Given that it only ran for 60 chapters and the OVA adapts I believe the first 12 chapters of the manga it could have been adapted in its entirety. Perhaps not for the TV audience but with the abundance of OVAs and ONAs made these days it was possible. And honestly it would have helped immensely since it’s an auditory experience that it’s promoting.
It’s about the worst kept secret in the industry that most voice actors in Japanese anime have done an eroge or hentai role at some point, or are still doing it. Most of them, however, use pseudonyms because of crazy fans that have unrealistic expectations.
The story follows a young girl starting out in the voice acting industry by doing these eroges and getting in touch with her sexuality by doing so. Very few of the scenes that show any nudity etc are happening and are instead produced by her imagination.
