Those who follow a certain Japanese anime blog probably already saw this, but those who haven’t, screencaps for Maken-Ki Two’s second blu-ray have now hit the interwebs and dare I say that it looks even more impressive than the first volume was.
I never expected that they could make the airheaded Inaho so sexy. It is painful to think that there are only three more volumes left. Even if we are fortunate and Aki and Kodama get two of those three, it sucks to think the rest of the cast combined might only get one special dedicated to them.
The sales for this show have been lukewarm, the first volume sold around 3700 copies. I’m relieved it wasn’t worse, but it sure would have been nice to see all that effort and creativity (by ecchi standards) rewarded a lot more.
Of course, the first volume still hasn’t hit torrent or direct download, though if you can make Japanese file sharing device Share actually work volume one can currently be found there (link, link, link). I’m actually attempting to download a couple of the files right now but so far no luck. (special thanks to Spoonyblah for pointing this out in the comments the other day).
