There seems to be at least one anime each season that surprises with the amount of ecchi that survives the adaptation from manga to anime. Oniichan wa Oshimai seems to be that show for this season, though after giving the first few chapters a cursory read maybe I shouldn’t be surprised. With Inuhiro helmed by another writer and Triangle being delayed, (I’ll probably wait until the BD release to continue it) and after a few readers requested it, I figured why not.
Oniichan wa Oshimai is a genderbend comedy with a dash of mild ecchi thrown in on occasion. The protagonist Mahiro was turned into a girl by his sister, and that’s about all that can be said for the plot and setting. This is not a complaint, but I mention this because most of the time, there really isn’t much to be said for what’s happening on the screen, so there won’t be much text accompanying these posts; I can almost guarantee you can guess the “plot” of the scene and the dialogue by simply looking at what’s happening on the screen; as with any standard comedy, situations are created and the characters interact to take advantage of their comedic potential – swell.
Episode 01:
Mahiro wakes up and learns his sister Mihari has transformed his body into that of a girl’s. The way Mihari casually violates Mahiro’s personal space appears to be something of a running theme.

A few of the de-fog edits I did for these two episodes indicate to me there is probably not much that will be changed with the BD releases, but then there are captures like this that show something of a breast crease, so you’ll probably get an official de-fogging at least.
I’m not sure if this qualifies as a panty shot, but I thought I might as well include this. Also, there are quite a few eyecatches for each episode, and they’ve all been unique up to this point, so that’s great too.
These types of “almost” shots are probably going to be frequent throughout the broadcast; i.e. cutting short just before you’d see anything.
This still of a barely visible ass crease is shown for exactly one frame. I recommend care when gathering captures, as any one frame can contain something you’d have missed by just watching.
The size of Mihari’s breasts seems to vary wildly, as you’ll soon see.
Episode 02:
A very nice webm of Mihari taking her clothes off, and a notable touch in showing her reflection in the bathwater. What follows is another bath scene that I’d have liked to make a webm for, but I didn’t see anything that would make it worthy of a webm, no bounce, no grabbing, touching etc.
It was good to see Mihari jumping on the service bandwagon early on. Some shows make you wait a while to see other characters.
I almost didn’t want to include this, because the skin creases at the armpit aren’t the most attractive. However, I wanted to call attention to the strange fixation the animators have in putting lines on the body in such excess that it looks awkward.
Another thing I wanted to point out is how defined Mahiro’s Apollo’s Belt is. Usually, this is something only seen in such definition on men. The only time I see this feature on women, is if they’re absolutely ripped.
Loli Mihari doesn’t even get a crease, unfortunately.
I wasn’t very thrilled seeing this. I hope this is just some kind of one off “joke,” because it would be very strange to have extended bath scenes with near nudity just to cop out on panty shots.
That’s it for these first two episodes. There was more than I expected to be, truthfully. There may have been one or two more stills I could have included but they were minor variations on something you’ve seen above. This does seem to at least be an enjoyable watch so far, and from what I’ve read it’s apparently quite popular in Japan. I haven’t researched this for myself, but some have said it’s ranked #1 of the season on some Japanese sites. But anyway, that’s it for now. Next review might include 3 or even 4 episodes, depending on how much service is sprinkled throughout, but I won’t know until I get there.
