Good news
This episode ups the fanservice significantly, and also introduced some characters that could get some nudity down the line as well.
The censorship in this episode is wildly inconsistent. Take note here that Matsuri’s panties are censored.
Matsuri hands Suzu some food to distract her from the ayakashi that’s drawn her attention. Matsuri takes the time to remind Suzu (and the viewers) that there are ayakashi that hide their power and pretend to be weak.
Given the situation with the ayakashi, Suzu would like to have Matsuri’s number, but thinks it would be awkward to ask now. You’d figure they may already established this contact, but I suppose the author is demonstrating just how deep the rift between the two grew during middle school.
Suzu is sexually harassed by some of her classmates, but because the harasser is a woman it’s obviously OK.
A minor ass crease. There’s another frame where it’s visible, but it’s much less visible.
Matsuri’s red pinwheel is able to detect ayakashi, and when Matsuri senses a nearby ayakashi he immediately leaves to pursue it and Suzu follows. This was a setup by Shirogane, who drew Matsuri out to demand the return of the scroll that was used to seal Shirogane’s power last episode. Matsuri refuses and says that Shirogane will continue hunting Suzu. Shirogane in response claims that he’s no longer interested in Suzu, but Matsuri doesn’t believe him. Shirogane then reveals that he’s broken the seal of a local ayakashi that was fought long ago and brought him here to take the scroll from Matsuri by force.
This is a brief panty shot I almost missed. I’d thought they’d censor Matsuri’s panties for the entirety of the series but this proved me wrong.
This entire webm is completely unedited, and it’s an odd one. There is such a strange array of jumpcuts that makes me think there are other panty shots that will be added in the BD.
It was probably a simple task for the editors to crop the above image to cut off Matsuri and Suzu’s panties to give a nice BD bonus.
The ayakashi is defeated by Matsuri. Shirogane makes an offhand comment here that implies that he was once able to control other ayakashi as the (former?) King of ayakashi.
Matsuri decides that he will become one of Suzu’s girl friends to better help protect her.
A comedy bit takes place here in which Matsuri forgets that he’s in the body of a woman and enters the boys bathroom.
Here’s a small something I noticed while editing some of these fog shots. Clearing out the fog and oversaturing the image shows a fine bit of pink in a very suspicious area. I was hoping I’d catch a slip up some time during the television broadcast but I didn’t think I’d catch one this early. I’m pretty confident just seeing this that the BD will both take away the cat censors and deliver nudity, relieving a major source of anxiety I’ve had since the Val x Love disaster.
Another bizarre case of selective censoring.
As is typical of my conduct during lengthy fanservice scenes, I try not to interrupt them with text unless needed. But I feel that this random cutaway to school needs explanation – Matsuri is lamenting the difficulty of possessing the body of a woman, as he thinks of particular scoldings he received from Suzu for conduct that isn’t ladylike.
The “Suzu” that approaches Matsuri in the bath was actually Shirogane in disguise. He started a conversation that led to Matsuri revealing the location of the scroll, which Shirogane steals in the assumption that Matsuri wouldn’t pursue him because he’s naked.
Shirogane is shocked to see Matsuri pursuing him even while naked, but Matsuri reveals that his necklace can transform itself into his battle gear.
Matsuri catches Shirogane and is about to exorcise him, but he is stopped by Suzu because otherwise Matsuri’s affliction will become a curse that can never be reversed. Furthermore, it is implied that Suzu prefers that Matsuri return as a male, if only because it’s simply what he was originally. Acquiescing, Matsuri decides to at least keep Shirogane as a pet, probably to keep an eye on him as he attempts to remedy the situation.
