Much to the chagrin of the five girls that already have a crush on Ichika, other rivals appear. Tatenashi who forces Ichika into additional “training” and Kanzashi whom Ichika is asked to team up with.
At the IS Academy students are training to become pilots for the Infinite Stratos weapon system. It so happens that this system can only be operated by females, with the exception of Orimura Ichika.

After missing chance after chance, Infinite Stratos 2 finally delivers in sudden and surprising fashion when Tatenashi spins around in her shower stall during the eighth episode. Episode twelve brought some R-rated changes as well.
I just got done watching volume two. Not only was there no nudity, but there were chances for nudity that were not capitalized on. On multiple occasions shirts were ripped open, only to have the remnants of clothing faithfully clinging to the nipple areas, often with a comfortable amount of room to spare.
Amazingly, that is all the first five volumes have to offer. It doesn’t exactly instill a ton of confidence in Infinite Stratos second season, though I guess any nipple sightings at least show that the novelist creator is not opposed to having them in his adaptations.
