Omamori Himari is a Japanese manga series written and illustrated by Milan Matra. Serialized in Monthly Dragon Age from June 2006 to September 2013, and twelve volumes were published between February 7, 2007 and November 9, 2013. A 12-episode anime adaptation by Zexcs aired in Japan between January and March 2010. Prior to making this video, I had never actually watched this show or read the manga. I kind of just picked it up because it looked like fun, I loved this show and every subsequent addition to Yuuto’s Harem. Himari is a ton of fun and is overall a great Female Lead. Liz the Busty-Blonde Maid was without a doubt my favorite character too bad she doesn’t appear that often. Shizuku was a great character but I felt the transition from Minor Antagonist to Ally happened almost instantly (This happens a lot actually).
The manga actually had nudity while the adaptation went with blanks… and from what I’ve read an anime-original ending (I hate when they do this nullifies any chance of a 2nd Season). One thing I did dislike about this show were the Fight Scenes, Maybe I’ve been spoiled by shows like Ikkitousen and Queen’s Blade where a Fight is a great source of Fanservice. Here however that wasn’t the case. Of particular note some really good scenes would be Ageha sucking Yuuto’s Blood, Liz seducing Yuuto, Himari’s First Kiss, And Himari’s Skirmish with Shizuku whilst in swimwear.
