Continuing on with a series of artbooks that just happened to catch my eye. (Maybe because I was working on Omamori Himari media at that time. And that anime has animal girls [technically demon girls] a plenty but does not have nipples although the manga does.) Next up is TORANOANA Girls Collection 2020 SUMMER TYPE-XB. Newer pool with girls of different types. Hard to complain…
Starting in 2017, it seems the TORANANA Girls Collections Artbooks were combined from TYPE-A, TYPE-B and TYPE-X to TYPE-XA and TYPE-XB. I’ve been curious since then as to what the different types are. Thanks to the intrepid soul that created the most recent yande.re pools, we now know the answer to part of the question. The X stands for uncensored versions of an existing censored images in the corresponding TYPE-A or TYPE-B artbook. Check out the before and after example images below.

Now I wonder if TYPE-A is for Animal girl and TYPE-B is for bikini…
What’s interesting is that TYPE-XA and TYPE-XB were combined into just TYPE-X for 2019 but now are separate again for 2020 like they were in 2018. With 150+ combined images, it’s understandable.
It would be fun to show before-and-after images for all uncensored images in this artbook. But unfortunately, that would be really hard on page load times with 150+ VHR (Very High Resolution) images even if they are jpg since yande.re only accepts high-quality images. Instead, you can find links to the parent image of all uncensored images in the yande.re TYPE-XB pool. Links to both pools can be found at the end of this post.
TORANOANA Girls Collection 2020 SUMMER TYPE-XB is part of a series of biannual doujinshi artbooks. TORANOANA is a doujin shop and this seems to be a collaboration with doujin artists to help both the doujin artists and the doujin shop gain popularity thus increasing sales. The TYPE-X editions are doujinshi artbooks for adults only that are sold at Comic Market. Animal girls seem to be the focus of a lot of the artwork. And some of the artwork looks really nice! With animal ears!! And nipples!!!
