Apparently Maken-Ki! Two had a nip slip moment on Tokyo MX
I just noticed this while in the edit, I’m surprised I didn’t catch this before. The GIF above was made from the Tokyo MX broadcast version of episode one. It remains 100% unchanged on BD. With all the blank boobs and obvious nipple adds coming later, I had just assumed the TV broadcast would be 100% nipple free.
Mayo Chiki! manga fanservice compilation
Though mostly non-nude, this was a decent enough fanservice manga (based on the light novel of the same name). I thought the anime was pretty average, though the unexpected nude scene in the final blu-ray certainly came as a welcome surprise.

You have to hand it to DxD, it’s not only one of the better fanservice vehicles of all time, but it actually managed to feel like a real anime while doing it. That’s not easy to pull off.

Those who follow a certain Japanese anime blog probably already saw this, but those who haven’t, screencaps for Maken-Ki Two’s second blu-ray have now hit the interwebs and dare I say that it looks even more impressive than the first volume was.

It is interesting to think that back in 1982, this anime probably passed as a family comedy. Today I can only imagine the reaction to a series with so much sexism and inappropriate nudity among other unseemly themes. Actually, we’ve seen stuff far worse, but it didn’t come in a family sitcom type of package where most of the characters are little kids.

Here we have it, the famous tentacle scene from the light novel / manga. We also get treated to a whole lot more blank-boobage, too. With this many blank boobs you almost wonder if they will have the balls to add nipples on blu-ray because if they did the sheer amount of R-rated nudity would be pretty mind-blowing for a show like this.
Kenzen Robo Daimidaler 03 fanservice compilation (TV)
By any objective standard, this anime is all kinds of terrible. Lecherous to the point of self-embarrassment*, incoherent / nonsensical, and overly fast paced. Even by fanservice standards it could be slightly better (all the nude scenes so far have been brief).
