This anime is based on the eroge of the same name created by Navel, though interestingly Shuffle’s manga version actually debuted a month before the game did. It’s worth noting that the manga is non-nude. The game is pornographic, and even has a fully uncensored / explicit version available.
Rie Kugimiya is no stranger to ecchi, (really just about all the top seiyuu have worked in the gutter plenty), but this was her only time in a nude ecchi series where she played her patented tsundere leading role. Aya Hirano also co-stars during a time period when both of these actresses were in the prime of their careers.
This anime has all of the following: nipples in a Ken Akamatsu adaptation (the only time this has ever happened, so far as I know), a cast led by a very young (pre-Haruhi) Aya Hirano, and an autobot reindeer. All of this in a Christmas special. The world, it be a funny place.
ARMS strikes again with yet another boob-tastic nude service anime. ARMS’ ecchi series always make for above average compilation videos, and Hagure Yuusha no Estetica is no exception.
This is an anime about mermaids. Mermaids who can’t seem to find any clam shells that are big enough.
Few nude ecchi series are this fun or well made, at least during the season’s first half when it more closely followed the manga. The fanservice was lighter than I would have liked it to be, though any nudity from a company like Artland is a pleasant surprise.
To Love-Ru Darkness is nothing short of a fanservice masterpiece.
This anime may have disappointed, but the service definitely did not.
This anime was a bit trippy, or perhaps like a dream. And towards the end, it became the kind of dream that leaves a mess behind.
Until just recently it was actually pretty damn hard to find this show uncensored.
