To Love-Ru Darkness is nothing short of a fanservice masterpiece.
This was a pretty intense project, with almost 10 minutes of non-nude usable footage in just the first two episodes.
When it comes to fanservice anime, there’s To Love-Ru Darkness, and then there’s everything else.
There’s a lot to like about Vanquished Queens so far. The first OVA has outstanding animation quality, and the fanservice extras are a bit, unique. There’s even a bit of back story in every episode.
Mangaka Kouji Seo is no stranger to writing for nudity, though Princess Lucia represents his first foray into blatant ecchi.
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=r9Ri00XuYlI It was recently revealed that Maken-Ki Two will air first on Tokyo MX before airing the next day on AT-X. The implication here is that because AT-X is getting the show a day later, it’s a bit of a “re-run” and therefore unlikely to differ from the version that airs on the “main” broadcast source, which in this case would be the all but guaranteed censored version on MX.
Remember earlier this year when the third episode of Valvrave’s first season appeared to barely show visible nipples on a censored MBS broadcast?
Swing and a miss. Volume 3 only provides about four and a half minutes of fanservice footage, and it’s of the combat nudity variety meaning you never really get a great look at any of it.
This anime may have disappointed, but the service definitely did not.
I’m kind of surprised how little nudity there’s been in this manga so far. I guess the anime wasn’t holding back after all.
